Our Parish is located on the traditional country of the Tugagal Clan of the Darug Nation. We acknowledge their cultural heritage, beliefs and continuing relationship with the land and waters. We pay our respects to the Elders past and present and commit ourselves to work together for reconciliation and justice

It is with great sadness that we advise that Mary Cook, (nee Wilkins) died early on Saturday 24 September. Mary suffered a major stroke during a heart operation.

Mary was a member of our Parish from childhood, having been a student at St Enda’s Primary school, which was located in our Church Hall.

Mary and her husband Tom were married in our Church in 1963 and theirs was the very first marriage celebration to be held in our current building.

After a long career in education where she was Principal of various schools in our diocese, Mary took up the role of Pastoral Associate at our Parish in 2011 and retired in 2016.

The funeral for Mary took place at Our Lady of the Way Parish, 17 Troy Street Emu Plains, Friday the 30th September, at 10:30am.

Please keep Mary’s husband, Tom, and their children and grandchildren in your prayers
