St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Toongabbie

We the Church of St Anthony of Padua are called to a greater realisation of the Kingdom of God and to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ

Due to the tremendous attitude of the people of NSW, we have reached a double dosevaccination rate of 90%, so we can now extend the opening of our doors to more people. As we move to the 2sqm rule up to 200 people will be allowed inside.

This applies to all Liturgies in our Church including our weekday Morning Masses Wednesday to Saturday at 9:30am; the Mass and Novena on Tuesday Evenings at 7:00pm, and, of cause, Weekend Masses: Saturday Vigil at 5.30pm and Sunday Morning at 8am and 10am.

There are some basic rules which still apply that we must continue to abide by.

  1. Masks inside the Church building are mandatory
  2. The 2sqm rule will apply which means that no more than 200 people over 12 years can enter the building
  3. A further 100 people can gather outside the church building. If this occurs the outside speakers will be turned on and at communion time a minister will distribute communion.
  4. Live Streaming will continue for the Sunday 10am Mass and also the Mass and Novena at 7pm on Tuesdays until further notice.
  5. A choir (unmasked) of no more than 10, can sing.

These conditions will continue till at least the 15th of December. At all times we will be listening to the official health advice and following directions.
We welcome you all back and may we through the Grace of God, the creator, the Love of Jesus the Word and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit continue to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
